true, good friendships, are so so valuable and should definitely be appreciated and championed just as much, if not more, than romantic ones. great read

Thank you for this piece on the importance of friendship. My friends got me through some rough times as a single person, and now that I’m married, they are just as important. My wife and I have really leaned on our church friends for meals over the past month ad we have a newborn at home. Truly I don’t know what we would do without them.

I resonate so much with this post. Something I’ve been thinking a lot about lately is learning when to hold on and when to let go of people, especially those I’ve come to call friends. Thank you for sharing this.

"If there is a book you want to read, but it hasn't been written yet, then you must write it,"

Toni Morrison said. And he is right.

So true!! It’s on my list to write to write some nonfiction around friendship, maybe part memoir or some essays

I'm so terrible at asking for what I need...at asking for help. You're right- it takes true vulnerability. I too am working on it.

We have a mutual friend and I've heard all about you- Jacqueline C. I'm so sorry you're going through this and I know we don't even know each other but I'm thinking of you and sending so much love and light your way. I'm in Charleston so if you need anything, please let me know. Seriously.

Oh and I agree, friendship is EVERYTHING! I just wrote a memoir about losing my dad and the biggest thread through it is the importance and beauty of friendship. :)

This is so kind! Thank you, Jaclyn!! I agree, it takes a lot of vulnerability-- but this experience is speeding up my practice 😅

Friends as Family, Family as Friends and Family Friends are the jewels in a treasure trove of life long blessings. It can be an ever changing, myriad of layers, a complex and/or simple mixture, but friendships are always my Fav! A sweet gift, both given and received. Each held deeply, with heartfelt gratitude!

Even difficulties in friendship have pushed me towards wisdom, vulnerability, honest assessment of myself and then choosing grace with both, open and closed, hands.

Such a beautiful beginning to your very special and thoughtful book’s pages! Beautiful, Ellery!

Prayers for your continued healing.

Love!

Non-fiction is my favourite niche. I have just finished a draft of "Unveiling the Mystery Shrouding Satan," for a client.

I enjoyed every minute of researching and writing this book because it's one I would like to read, yet there aren't many books on this topic.

Thank you for responding
