You're Invited! January Reading Party
officially kicking off the Charleston Chapter of Reading Rhythms
I’m so excited to announce my friend Jacqueline and I are officially kicking off the Charleston Chapter of Reading Rhythms in the new year — the organization in NYC that inspired Reading Parties around the world as a way to *actually* read and address loneliness in our hyper-digital culture by offering a relaxed space to read with other people who love books.
As a Substack friend, you get first access! Tickets are live for our next Charleston Reading Party on January 21st at Queen Street Grocery.

It’s a great way to meet people, have meaningful conversations with other creatives, and enjoy a quiet, curated space to actually get some reading done. It’s been so fun to connect with creatives across Charleston about the power of stories and how books shape us.
Space is limited, so get your ticket today! Invite a friend or come and make new friends — we can’t wait to see you there!

P.S. If you need a book for the holidays this week, I’m reading Ina Garten’s Be Ready When The Luck Happens. It feels so nostalgic and cozy to hear the story of her life after growing up watching her cooking show at my grandfather’s house as a child. Highly recommend it for a fun read!
Love this! I wish I was in the area to take part!
